What are the requirements to purchase a test?

Our profiles are designed and evaluated by our medical team, so a medical prescription is not necessary.

To request an analysis, you only need to register on our website with an email and a mobile phone (for extra security) and pay online with a credit / debit card.

I have already purchased a test, what do I do now?

Accepted Answer

After purchasing your test, you have to go to a collection point to take your test.

You should have received a purchase confirmation email (if you have purchased the test for someone else, she/he will receive the confirmation email). This email contains important information about the collection points you can go to and how to access your results once they are available.

This is also the email that you have to show in the collection point the day you take your test.

Where can I take the tests?

Not all locations offer all tests, and each center has its own schedule.

You can check the available centers for your test in the map at the bottom of the product page. We also send a link to the map in the confirmation email.

By clicking on the center, you can see the opening hours and booking requirements. If you need an appointment for a specific location, please contact our customer service team via chat, at 911822517 or by email: contacto@meliohealth.com.

How long do I have to take the test?

Your purchase code is valid for the next month after purchase. After that time it will expire automatically. If you want to take the test after that month, you will have to contact Customer Service to activate the code again.

Do I need an appointment?

Accepted Answer

Most locations do not require an appointment, but some do. By clicking on each center you can check opening hours and whether or not they require an appointment. If you need an appointment, please contact our customer service team by chat, by calling 911822517 or by email: contacto@meliohealth.com.

How can I visualize my results?

You will receive an SMS / email when your results are ready.

To view your results, you must access your dashboard. You have to follow these steps to access your profile: 1) visit www.melio.es 2) login (at the top-right corner) with your email and password 3) once you have accessed your account click on "My results"  in the top-right drop-down.

All the values for your markers will be saved in this dashboard so that you can check the evolution over time.

What information can I get in the doctor’s comment?

Your results are informed by one of our doctors leveraging your health profile (questionnaire to be filled in after purchase). The doctor will explain the importance of the different markers and will give you personalized recommendations to improve your health.

If any result is off, we will let you know the implications in case you need any type of intervention or specific follow-up by a specialist.

How long do I have to wait for my results?

Each test has its own timings. In general, results are ready from 24 hours to one week after the sample is taken. You can check the specific timings in the different product pages.

What is my Health Profile?

The health profile is a questionnaire with important information that our doctors need to interpret your analysis and give you personalized recommendations; so it is important to fill and keep it updated.

Do I have to fast for my test?

Accepted Answer

Depending on the test you may need to go to the collection center on an empty stomach (at least 8 hours without food, but you can drink water). Eating before the test may change the values of many relevant markers included in the analysis.

You can check whether you need to fast or not in the different product pages.

The training profile and fertility profile have other specific conditions: in menstruating women should be performed between days 3 - 5 of the menstrual cycle (days 3 - 5 of the period) and between 8-9 am (for cortisol and testosterone levels).

What is the return policy?

If you have purchased a test, but you don’t want to take it, we will refund the full cost of the test right away. Your purchase code will be cancelled and you won’t be able to use it.

We follow the same laws, regulations and confidentiality policies as health centers and hospitals. At Melio, you are the owner of your results. You can share your results with your doctor or others by printing or downloading them in pdf.

Can I purchase a test for someone else?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can purchase a test for someone else from your own account. The process is as follows:

Once you have registered, before payment the "Identification" tab will appear. In the "Buy for" dropdown you can select "For another person". You will need to enter the first and last name, ID, date of birth and email address of the person you wish to purchase for.

Two e-mails will be sent to the person that is going to take the test, one with the purchase confirmation code and information on how to take the test, and the other to complete their account registration (they will be asked to add a phone number to increase the security of their account) so that you can access your results.

Remember, the test results will only be available for the person that took the test, in their profile.
